2019 LIU Brooklyn Men's Golf Schedule
BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The LIU Brooklyn men's golf team, led by head coach Michael Michaelides, announced its schedule for the upcoming spring season Thursday. The Blackbirds look to build upon their strong finish to the fall season with a six-tournament slate in 2019.
LIU will open its spring schedule as it hosts the annual Lonnie Barton Invitational (Mar. 3-5) at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Blackbirds' spring break trip in the Sunshine State finishes up at the Gary Freeman Spring Invitational (Mar. 6-8), hosted by Bethune-Cookman University at LPGA International.
The Blackbirds' first tournament back north will be in Maryland for a tournament hosted by Towson University (April 5-7). Next, LIU Brooklyn heads to the Nutmeg State to compete in the Sacred Heart Spring Invitational (April 13-15). LIU will look to improve upon its finish from last year at the challenging Great River Golf Club course.
The Blackbirds will play their final tune-up of the regular season at the Navy Spring Invitational; LIU makes its first trip to the Naval Academy Golf course in two seasons.
The Northeast Conference Men's Golf Championship will be held at LPGA International from April 24-28.
