Hall of Fame - LIU Brooklyn

LIU Brooklyn established its Athletics Hall of Fame in 2000 with an inaugural group of 11 inductees comprised of former administrators, coaches and student-athletes.

"This institution has one of the longest and proudest traditions of excellence that is unparalleled by most universities in the country," director of athletics John Suarez said at the time. "We believed it was time to recognize those who have given so much to Blackbirds athletics."

The inductees are chosen annually from a committee comprised of current and former administrators. The inductees receive a Hall of Fame blazer, as well as a replica of the plaque that is permanently displayed in the Hall of Fame, located in the entrance lobby to the Wellness, Recreation and Athletic Center.
