Ashley O'Connor (2003-06): One of the top defenders in the Northeast Conference and arguably the best in LIU Brooklyn history, O'Connor was a two-time All-NEC selection including first-team honors as a senior in 2006. She helped the Blackbirds to their second NEC title in school history in 2006, captaining a defense that allowed just three goals in NEC play. An intense competitor who was also known for her durability, O'Connor started 78 of a possible 79 games over her four-year career. She was also the first player in school history to be named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Region Team.
