Lizelle Jackson - Hall of Fame - LIU Brooklyn
Lizelle Jackson
Induction Class of 2016
Women's Volleyball
Lizelle Jackson was a two-year member of the LIU Brooklyn volleyball team, helping the Blackbirds win the first two NEC championships in program history. The 2005 NEC Player of the Year, she led LIU to 26 victories that season and to the program’s first and only NCAA Tournament victory.
Despite playing just two seasons in downtown Brooklyn, Jackson finished her career ranked third on LIU’s career kills list and after exhausting her eligibility on the volleyball court, helped the LIU women’s soccer program win a Northeast Conference championship in 2006.
