Steve Turner was one of the top male tennis players in the country during his time at LIU from 1967-69.
He did not lose a singles or doubles match in his three years on the LIU team. Turner won three ECAC championships and helped LIU become one of the dominant teams in the East.
He would later qualify for the U.S. Open.
