Brooklyn, N.Y. - Former LIU Brooklyn women's basketball standout Connie James was recently signed by TG Nuess in the second Bundesliga in Germany.
James joined the team in mid-December and helped Nuess to just their second win of the season by scoring 20 points and tallying 10 rebounds.
A four-year letterwinner for the Blackbirds, James used a savvy court sense to finish her career with 906 points (19th in program history), 711 rebounds (11th), 367 assists (2nd) and 222 steals (4th).
The Galloway, N.J. native is also tied with current student assistant coach Justine Stevenson as LIU's all-time leader in games played with 122.
