BROOKLYN, N.Y. - The LIU Brooklyn men's and women's track and field teams and women's basketball team took part in the second annual Fort Greene Track & Field Day on Columbus Day.

The event, held at Commodore Barry Park, was open to children in the community ages 5 through 14 and featured a number of sports and activities throughout the day. 

Members of the track and field and women's basketball teams, along with the Brooklyn Blackbird, helped lead numerous activities for the children, including soccer, basketball, track and field events and other games.
