COLUMBUS, Ohio- The LIU Brooklyn women's basketball team starts a three-game stretch away from the Steinberg Wellness Center, Saturday, November 19. The Blackbirds face off with the No. 7/8 nationally ranked Ohio State Buckeyes at Value City Arena; tip-off is scheduled for noon.

Senior forward Shayla Cooper is second on the team, with 13.0 points per game, while redshirt junior Stephanie Mavunga (12.7 ppg) and redshirt sophomore Sierra Calhoun (11.3 ppg) round out the four Buckeyes who average double-digit scoring.

LIU will play the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the first round, Friday, November 25 at 5:00 p.m. The Blackbirds will then play in the championship game or consolation game against either NJIT or host University of Vermont, Saturday, November 26.
