BROOKLYN, N.Y. --- LIU Brooklyn Women's Basketball will face its final out-of-state opponent on Saturday, February 25 at 1 p.m. when the Blackbirds take on Mount St. Mary's in Emmitsburg, Md. A victory against the Mountaineers will keep LIU in contention for a spot in the 2017 Northeast Conference (NEC) Tournament.

- The Blackbirds are one of three teams vying for the final two spots in the conference tournament as the regular season winds down. LIU remained in the hunt after its 62-58 victory over borough neighbor St. Francis Brooklyn on Monday.
