BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Senior 
Sierra O'Connor scored a season-high four goals and had an assist to lead the LIU Brooklyn women' lacrosse team in one of their highest offensive outputs of the season, but the visiting Wagner Seahawks were able to come out on top, 23-13. The two teams combined for over 70 shots in the contest, including 51 on net, as Wagner took the win to improve to 4-0 in Northeast Conference action. O'Connor was one of seven Blackbirds to score in the loss, as LIU moves to 3-10 overall, and 0-4 in the NEC.
 
NOTES FROM THE NEST
	- Freshman Amanda Masullo got LIU on the board first, scoring just two minutes into the game.
- Wagner answered by scoring seven straight goals to take a commanding lead.
- Freshman Rachel Masullo and sophomore Bianca Santucci both scored in the first half, while senior Sierra O'Connor scored three of her foul goals in the first stanza, including back-to-back scores that would cut the gap to 8-4.
- Wagner used scoring sprees of unanswered goals to maintain momentum, and ended the first half up, 15-6. The visitors rode that momentum into the second half, scoring three early goals to widen the lead to 18-6.
- LIU scored four straight goals to cut the lead back down, as Dale Cosgrave and Carlie Robinson both found the back of the net, and Amanda Masullo scored back-to-back goals.
- Sophomore Abby Fox, Rachel Masullo and Sierra O'Connor would all add goals in the final 15 minutes of the game.
- Wagner would add two goals in the final nine minutes, to take the game by a final score of 23-13.

- Ally Alliegro led Wagner with four goals and four assists, while Marjorie Dehm led all scorers with six goals. 10 different Seahawks scored in the victory.
