BROOKLYN, N.Y.— The LIU Brooklyn women's basketball team fell to Robert Morris, 89-37 on Monday night at the Steinberg Center to close out the second weekend of Northeast Conference play.

Tiya Misir but a Colonials buzzer beater gave the visitors a 22-10 advantage.
RMU would take control of the game in the second quarter with a 12-0 stretch for a majority of the period while its league leading defense held the Blackbirds scoreless for the first 6:48 before Bell recorded a layup off the pick and roll from sophomore
Jeydah Johnson. The Colonials would take a 43-17 lead into the half.
The Colonials would continue to control the pace of play in the second half, shooting 46.4% from the floor while holding LIU to a 21.1% clip to take the wire-to-wire victory.
NOTES FROM THE NEST
- Sophomore Daisha Davis finished with a career-high four points and tied a career-high three rebounds.
- Bell tied career-high in points with 16, going 6-10 from the floor and 4-5 from the free-throw line. She finished with six rebounds for the second straight contest.
