MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa.— The LIU Brooklyn women's basketball team closes out its Pennsylvania road trip with a matchup at Robert Morris for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off on Monday, February 25 at the North Athletic Complex.

NOTES FROM THE NEST
  • LIU earned its second straight win on Saturday afternoon, storming past Saint Francis U 75-69 at DeGol Arena. The Blackbirds shot 52% from three-point range, making a season-high 13 three-pointers. The win snapped an eight-game losing skid for LIU against the Red Flash.
  • Sophomore Jeydah Johnson led LIU with her second straight 20-point effort finishing with a game-high 23 points. Sophomore Tia Montagne added a career-high 19 points for the Blackbirds.
  • Two-time reigning NEC Rookie of the Week, Brandy Thomas added a 10 points to go with a team-high seven rebounds and five assists. First-year guards Tiya Misir and Ryan Weise also contributed 10 points each.
  • Robert Morris comes into the matchup 16-9 overall and atop the NEC with a 13-1 record. The Colonials lead the NEC in scoring defense, holding opponents to 55.2 points per contest. RMU also leads in steals per game with 10.3 steals and ranks first in turnover margin at +4.0.
  • Neka Ezeigbo is the team's top scorer with 11.3 points per contest to go along with 7.5 boards per contest. Isabella Posset ranks second in scoring with 7.5 points per game to go along with 2.6 assists per contest.
  • Monday is the 67th all-time meeting between both teams dating back to 1985 with RMU holding a 50-16 advantage in the series including the last 16 matchups. The Colonials earned a 87-39 win over LIU at the Steinberg Center back on January 14.
