2015: Played in eight matches for LIU, starting seven, before her season was cut short due to injury… Had 23 total blocks in just eight appearances, for a 0.88 blocks per set average… Had seven kills, five digs and four blocks against Syracuse… Had a season-high six blocks versus Oregon… Also had six kills against Arizona.
2014: Played in 21 matches for LIU, starting seven… Finished the season with 44 total blocks and 39 kills… Had a season-high 8.0 total blocks in win over Boston College… Had 6.0 total blocks in win over Temple… Had season-high five kills in win over No.25 Michigan State.
Background: Daughter of Zeljko and Miroslava... Also played for club team Vizura... Was two-time Best Middle Blocker award winner playing for Vizura (U16s and U18s)... Was also named Best Athlete of her class at The Sixth Belgrade Grammar School in 2010... Plans to play professional volleyball in Europe after graduation. |
