Background: Transferred from UConn Avery Point… Had a 4-0 record, with a 0.26 ERA in his final season there, with 38 strikeouts in 35 innings pitched… Also a four-year letter winner at RHAM, as a pitcher and first baseman… Was team captain and Team MVP in both his junior and senior seasons… Earned first team All-State honors twice (2012, 2013)… Was named to the Senior Select All-Star Team… Named RHAM’s Male Athlete of the Year as a senior… Graduated with a 1.82 ERA, 284 career strikeouts and a 19-8 record on the mound…Went 10-1 with a .60 ERA and 102 strikeouts in his junior year... Also played football and basketball at RHAM.
