2015: Named to NEC Academic Honor Roll… Saw action in 31 games for LIU, including 24 starts… Finished the season with 20 hits, including three doubles and a home run… Had 12 RBI for the Blackbirds… Collected six multi-hit games on the year… Went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored at Wagner… Hit first career home run in 2-for-5 performance at Farleigh Dickinson.
Background: Earned seven varsity letters at Conestoga High School in baseball (3) and ice hockey (4)… Was a two-year team captain of the ice hockey team, and was named team captain of the baseball team in his senior season… Named All-League and All-Main Line as a junior, and All-Main Line as a catcher in his senior season… Also was a three-time All-League goalie in hockey, and two-time team MVP… Helped baseball team advance to State Championship finals in his senior season… Helped lead hockey team to two Central League championships.
