2016: Named second-team All-NEC… Was also named to the 2016 Northeast Conference Academic Honor Roll… Played in and started all 18 games for LIU, as one of the team’s top defenders… Accumulated over 1,600 minutes played, leading the team… Scored three goals for the Blackbirds, against Siena, Manhattan and Albany.
2015: One of the top defenders in the Northeast Conference as a freshman... Member of NEC's All-Rookie Team... Started 19 matches as a central defender, helping the Blackbirds to eight shutouts... Recorded seven shots offensively, including three in 1-1 tie against Howard... Member of NEC's Academic Honor Roll.
Background: Played three years at Bromma Gymnasium in Stockholm… Was named team captain of Djurgardens IF U19 team for two seasons… Helped team to a first-place finish in Swedish national U15 competition in 2010 as well as a second-place finish in U19 competition in 2014.
Personal: Son of Jan and Anna Helena Wahlin… has three brothers, Johan, Hannes, Tomas, and two sisters, Emma and Kalle… Majoring in business.
