2016: Appeared in 30 matches and started 20 in her first season with the Blackbirds...Tallied 237 kills, 226 digs, 21.0 total blocks, 21 assists and 18 service aces...Recorded eight double-doubles on the year...Had a season-high 19 kills and 12 digs against Bryant on October 19...Set a season best with 17 digs to go along with 13 kills vs Stetson on September 17
Background: Transferred from Indian River State College and Florida International… Named an NJCAA First Team All-American in 2015… Was also named the 2015 Southern Conference Player of the Year, and was selected to both the FCSAA All-State Team and the FCSAA All-Tournament Team… Led IRSC to the program’s first conference championship in school history… Finished her sophomore season ranked eighth in the nation in the NJCAA with a 3.88 kills per set average, and ranked in the top 40 in total kills (434) and hitting percentage (.312)… At FIU, saw action in 17 matches, including two starts… Finished her freshman season with 78 digs, 22 kills, 10 assists and two aces… Played high school volleyball at Vero Beach… Named team MVP her junior and senior seasons… Named All-Area Player of the Year in 2014… Also played for Treasure Coast Volleyball Club, advancing to the Junior Olympics in 2013… Earned second place in sand volleyball with Team Florida.
Personal: Daughter of Derek and Julie Lilliquist… Has one brother, Derek… Father, Derek, was a pitcher for Georgia, drafted by the Atlanta Braves, and is now the pitching coach for the St. Louis Cardinals… Graduated with honors, and was on the Dean’s List at IRSC… Majoring in nursing or pre med.
