2016-17: Named to the Northeast Conference All-Rookie Team... Played and started 31 of LIU’s 32 games in his freshman season... Finished the year averaging 11.2 points per game, 3.2 assists per game and 2.1 rebounds per game... Was named NEC Rookie of the Week once... Finished the year with his first career double-double in the NEC Tournament, scoring 16 points and dishing out 10 assists against Robert Morris... His 10 assists in that game matched an NEC freshman record... Scored a career-high 22 points against Incarnate Word... Had 18 games with 10+ points, including three games with 20 points or more.
Background: A two-time state champion in the state of Washington… Helped lead legendary Garfield High to a 4A title as a sophomore and as a junior... Led the Metro League with 72 steals while averaging 13.3 points and 3.6 assists per contest in his junior season, as the Bulldogs compiled a 27-2 record… Averaged 10.5 points, 6.8 assists, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.8 steals per game as a senior, as Garfield finished with a 26-3 mark and ranked third in the state.
