2017: Started all 50 games for the Blackbirds… Finished the season with a .282 batting average, 31 RBI and 28 runs scored… Had 11 stolen bases, eight doubles and two home runs… Was walked 27 times… Had four hits and two RBI against Southern… Went 2-for-3 with a double, three RBIs and two runs scored versus NYIT… Went 3-for-5 in wins over Mount St. Mary’s and at St. Peter’s.
2016: Named to the NEC Academic Honor Roll… Played in 28 games for LIU, starting 24… Finished the season hitting .278… Had seven RBI… Also made four relief appearances on the mound, pitching 2.2 innings in total… Finished with a 3.38 ERA and two strikeouts… Had three two-hit games and scored a pair of runs four times during the season …Went 3-3 with a walk and three runs scored at Sacred Heart.
Background: Four-year letter winner at Agawam as an outfielder… Named team captain in his senior season… Named first team All-Northeast Region in 2015… Was a Perfect Game All-American honorable mention in both 2014 and 2015… Ranked as the top outfielder in Massachusetts by Perfect Game in 2015… Was named a 2014 Western Massachusetts Super 7 Selection... Played for the New England Royals (2014) and Western Mass. Storm (2013) in the summers… Also earned two varsity letters in hockey, and was named first team All-Western Massachusetts as a senior.
