2018: Played in all 24 matches for LIU... Named NEC Defensive Player of the Year and ECAC Defensive Player of the Year… All-NEC First Team libero… Three-time NEC Defensive Player of the Week… Led the NEC and ranked in the top 20 nationally with 5.43 digs per set… Recorded a team best 17 service aces in 2018… Recorded a team-high in digs for the third straight season with 494 digs on the year… Finished with 30-plus digs in three contests, including a season-high 33 digs against Holy Cross (Sept. 7) and Bryant (Sept. 28)…. 2017: Appeared in all 30 matches in her sophomore campaign... Named All-ECAC First Team at Libero... Recorded a league-high five Molten/NEC Defensive Player of the Week honors during the regular season... Was named 2017 NEC Tournament MVP and All-Tournament Team... Led the team with 617 digs and ranked second in the NEC with a 5.46 digs per set average... The digs per set clip ranks second among LIU single season annuals... Posted a season-high 40 digs against George Washington on September 2... Registered 38 digs in the NEC Title game against CCSU on November 18... Named to NEC Fall Academic Honor Roll. 

2016: Appeared in 24 matches for the Blackbirds, leading the team with 412 digs and finishing second in the NEC with a 5.01 digs per set average...Recorded a season-best 48 digs at Saint Francis U. on October 8...Named to the NEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.

Background: Played for the High Performance Puerto Rico volleyball team… Five-time team captain… Was a six-time All-Star team selection at various tournaments… Was selected to be a member of the 2014 USAV Open Girl’s Junior National Championship Team.

Personal: Daughter of Luis Rivera and Alba Vázquez… Has two younger siblings: Xavier and Coraly… Plans to major in biology.
