2018: Started all 51 games for the Blackbirds, playing right field... Earned Second Team All-NEC honors… Led NEC in hits (59), ranked 6th in batting average (.343), tied for 5th in doubles (10), and tied for 4th in triples (2)… Tied for first on Blackbirds in doubles, tied for second in runs (32), second in triples and third in total bases (73)… Ranked 42nd on the NCAA “Toughest to Strikeout” list with just 8Ks over 172 at bats… Had 17 multi-hit games, and three hits on five occasions - went 3-for-4 against SFU in the NEC Tournament opener… Went 5-for-7 in the doubleheader sweep against Robert Morris with six total runs scored…Earned 2018 NEC All-Tournament Team honors…Named to the NEC Spring Commissioner’s Honor Roll and NEC President’s Honor Roll.
2017: Named to the NEC Spring Commissioner's and Academic Honor Rolls as well as the Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete list... Redshirted the season due to injury.
2016: Played in 40 contests with 16 starts...tallied 11 hits, ten runs, seven walks and two stolen bases in her first collegiate season...had a pair of multi-hit games against Middle Tennessee (March 6) and at Wagner (May 8)...earned All-America Scholar-Athlete honors from Easton/NFCA.
Background: Played four seasons of varsity softball at Cherokee... Also earned two letters in soccer... Two-year captain as a junior and senior of softball team... Played infield, outfield and pitched during her high school career... Four-year all-conference selection... Carpenter Cup selection as a sophomore... Led team in hits, batting average, on-base percentage, runs and runs batted in... Struck out just twice in over 80 plate appearances as a junior... Played club softball for NJ Pride.
Personal: Daughter of Rob and Kathy Griffin... Has two siblings, Carolyn and Victoria... Sister, Carolyn, played softball at Saint Peter's and Eckerd... Majors in mathematics.
