2018: Appeared in 35 contests with 16 starts on the mound, finishing the season with a record of 6-9… Totaled 90.2 innings pitched for the Blackbirds during the season… Led the team and tied for third in the NEC in games finished with 14, as well as led the team and the NEC in games in relief with 19… Tallied 59 total strikeouts, 13 of them looking… Threw a no-hitter in a five inning victory against Maine on March 16 with six strikeouts in the game (tying personal season high) in LIU’s first no-hitter since 2010… Named to the NEC 2018 Spring Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2017: Saw action in 44.1 innings over 22 games, including eight starts on the mound... Went 3-3 with an ERA of 5.59... Recorded one save, 21 strikeouts and was part of one team shutout (Quinnipiac, March 24).
Background: Played four seasons for Ravena-Coymans-Selkirk High School.. .named Class B All-State Sixth Team as a senior and a First Team All-Star as a freshman... Three year team MVP... Totaled over 600 strikeouts in her scholastic career... Also played four years of volleyball... Member of National Honor Society.
Personal: Daughter of Heather and Paul Irvis... has two younger siblings, Tyrell and Myles... Parents were collegiate athletes - Heather was a cross country runner at Siena and Paul was a baseball player at Utica... plans to become a doctor.
