2018: Appeared in 28 contests, with 13 starts on the mound as a freshman, totaling 104.1 innings pitched… Led the team in batters struck out (9th in NEC with 66), and saves (2nd in NEC with 2)… Finished with team-best 5.02 ERA… Named NEC Rookie of the week (April 30) after going 3-1 in NEC play with a 0.74 ERA with 14 strikeouts in over 19 total innings; threw a two-hit shutout win in game one and a save in game two in a doubleheader sweep over FDU… Went on to throw another two-hit shutout with seven strikeouts the following day to top SHU… Finished with a 5-6 recording including five complete games… Named to the NEC 2018 Spring Academic Honor Roll.
Background: Earned four varsity letters in softball, spending her first three years at Cosumnes Oaks before graduating from Elk Grove... Three-time Sacramento Bee All-Metro team selection... Two-time Sacramento River Cats/Sports Magazine All-City and First Team All-League choice... Pitched three no-hitters in scholastic career - two as a senior at Elk Grove and Cosumnes Oaks' first-ever no-hitter as a junior.... Played travel ball with the NorCal Bandits
