2007-08: Outdoor: Finished the 100-meter dash at the Northeast Conference Championships in 13.08… Ran a 26.63 in the 200-meter dash at the NEC Championships. Indoor: Turned in a time of 8.03 in the 60-meter dash at the NEC Championships… Crossed the finish line in 25.79 in the 200-meter dash at the Metropolitan Championships… Leapt to a distance of 5.01 meters in the long jump at the NEC Championships.
Background: Attended Weaver High School, were she competed in track and field and soccer… Earned All-America, all-state and all-conference accolades in track and field… Led team to outdoor title… Named team most valuable player in field events… Also competes for the Long Island women’s soccer team.
