East Norwich, N.Y. – The Long Island University women's golf team competed in a tri match on Monday at the Muttontown Golf Club in East Norwich, N.Y. Senior Anna Palsson came out on top of the single-round event, carding an 80.

Senior Julia Rappa carded on 82 while freshmen Alice Boothroyd and Brianna Maynard both recorded an 83. Senior Caitlin Meadows also competed for the Blackbirds.

LIU combined for a team score of 328, while the Bobcats earned a 373 and the Terriers earned a 400.

The women's golf team wraps up its fall season this weekend at the Sacred Heart Invitational, taking place on Sunday, Oct. 23 and Monday, Oct. 24.
