Team and Individual Leaderboards (Golfstat)
PHOENIX, Md. - Sophomore Marisol Doglioli shot a team-best round of 76 and the LIU Brooklyn women's golf team is in fourth place after day one of the Tignanelli Towson Invitational on Sunday. Doglioli is two shots off the individual lead and is tied for fifth, while the Blackbirds are eight strokes behind first-place Delaware at 316.
In addition to Doglioli, junior Cristina Felip shot 79 and is tied for 19th and classmate Brianna Maynard is one shot behind Felip in a tie for 24th. Junior Alice Boothroyd had an impressive front-nine showing, registering eight pars and a birdie to help her finish the first round at 81.
Sophomore Victoria Fagan, playing as an individual, shot 83 and is tied for 39th while senior Cristina Reynoso carded an 87 in her first round as a Blackbird.
The second and final round of the Towson Invitational will take place on Monday, Sept. 9 beginning at 8:45 a.m.
