Maynard Leads Women's Golf at Lady Blue Hen Invitational

First and Second Round Results

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. -
The LIU Brooklyn women's golf team is in seventh place after the first two rounds of the Lady Blue Hens Invitational at the Rehoboth Beach Golf Course. 

Competing in their final tournament of the fall season, the Blackbirds shot a 318  in the first round and a 335 in the second for a total of 653 on the day. Georgetown leads  the field, followed  by UPenn and Delaware.
 
Senior Brianna Maynard leads LIU After the first two rounds. She carded a total of 150 (80-79) to stand in 15th place. Senior Alice Boothroyd is behind Maynard in a tie for 17th, shooting a 78 in the first round and an 83 in the second for a total of 161.

Senior Cristina Felip is tied for 33rd with 165 (83-82) and improved one stroke during the second round, while sophomore Marisol Doglioli is tied for 44th with 171 (78-93). Sophomore Victoria Fagan is two strokes behind Doglio with 173 (82-91) and tied for 48th.

Delaware's Amanda Terzian leads the field with 150.

The third and final round of the Lady Blue Hen Invitational concludes tomorrow with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m.
