Final Results
REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - The LIU Brooklyn women's golf team concluded its fall season at the Lady Blue Hens Invitational on Sunday afternoon, placing seventh overall at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club.
The Blackbirds improved 11 strokes from the second round, carding a 324 to finish with 977 for the three rounds. Georgetown won the team title with 922, followed Pennsylvania, Delaware, Towson and Richmond.
Senior Brianna Maynard finished in 15th overall, carding an 80 during the third round for a three-round total of 239. Senior Cristina Felip jumped 12 spots to finish in a tie for 21st with 243, shooting a 78 in the third, the low round for the Blackbirds.
Senior Alice Boothroyd was three strokes behind with 246, and finished in a tie for 30th. Junior Marisol Doglioli improved 12 strokes from her second round score and carded a total of 252, good for 38th place, while junior Victoria Fagan dropped six strokes off of her second round and totaled 258.
Amanda Chin of Penn defeated Amanda Terzian of Delaware in the first hole of a sudden death playoff to earn medalist honors.
LIU Brooklyn finishes the fall season with four top-10 finishes and three in the top five.
