BOSTON, Mass. - The LIU Brooklyn made its final trip of the 2014-15 indoor season to Boston University over the weekend for the Last Chance Meet.
Amir Armstrong won the triple jump with a mark of 14.70m, making him the trop finisher for the Blackbirds on the day. Adam Walker-Khan was second in the long jump at 7.04, while Kemar Lewis was third overall in the high jump with a leap of 200m.
In the track events, Mikhail Williamson finished second in the finals of the 60-meter hurdles in 8.10, his best time of the season. Tyquan Dukes was 12th in the 200-meter dash in 22.46.
For the women, Stephanie Aidoo posted a personal best in the 200-meter dash, placing sixth with a time of 24.83. Cemorne Davis also ran her best time of the season in the 400-meter dash, finishing in 57.40, good for 11th place.
Kyaira Wright-Harmon won the high jump again after taking the title at the Northeast Conference Championships last week. She turned in a mark of 1.70m on Sunday.
The NCAA Indoor Championships take place from March 13-14 at the University of Arkansas. The Blackbirds will also be opening their outdoor season on March 14 with the USF Invitational in Tampa, Fla.
