BROOKLYN, N.Y. - LIU Brooklyn senior Cristina Felip was named the Northeast Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, it was announced the league Wednesday. It was Felip's second honor of the 2014-15 season. 

Felip tied for second overall after a three-hole playoff at the Georgetown Hoya Invitational on Monday and Tuesday. After three rounds, Felip finished in a three-way deadlock for first after carding a 230 (74-80-76). Felip's first round score of 74 tied her with two other golfers for the lowest round of the tournament. The senior paced the Blackbirds to a fifth-place finish among the 13 schools competing.\

The Blackbirds are back in action tomorrow at the two-day Seton Hall Invitational at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J.
