PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The LIU Brooklyn track and field teams completed competition at the historic Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Pa. on Saturday afternoon.
Kyaira Wright-Harmon started things off for the Blackbirds on Thursday afternoon, placing 14th in the high jump with a mark of 1.68m. Next in the 4x100 relay, Anise Cuffee, Bryanna Williams, Cemorne Davis and Gabriella Ade-Onojobi placed 38th of 90.
On Friday, Davis, Williams, Elizabeth Adesanya and Katrina Anderson placed 15th overall in 4:01.44 in the sprint medley championship.
On the men's side, Mica-Jonathan Petit-Homme placed sixth overall in the 400-meter hurdles in 53.49. Teammate Alistair McLean was 17th in the 54.33.
In the high jump, Kemar Lewis also had a sixth place finish, clearing a mark of 2.00m. In the triple jump, Amir Armstrong was 10th in 14.67m.
In the 4x200 relay, Adam Walker-Khan, Tyler Cue, Tyquan Dukes, Mikhail Williamson, were 18th in the 4x200 relay. In the 4x100 relay, Cue, Dukes, Williamson and McLean were 25th in 41.93.
Up next, the Blackbirds compete at the Northeast Conference Championships from May 2-3 at the Northeast Conference Championship at Mount St. Mary's in Emmitsburg, Md.
