First Round Results

PHOENIX, Md. - The LIU Brooklyn women's golf team completed the first round of the Tignanelli Towson Invitational on Sunday afternoon. The Blackbirds finished with a team score of 346, led by senior Marisol Doglioli who carded an 81.

In addition to Doglioli, sophomore Lauren Rutherglen and freshman Emma Paschel shot 88, while senior Victoria Fagan finished at 89 and freshman Sara Ciliberto closed at 92. The host Tigers lead the field at 308, with Jenny Buchanan and Anneke Strobach of Fairleigh Dickinson tied for the individual lead at 74.

The second and final round of the Towson Invitational will take place on Monday, Sept. 14, beginning at 8:00 a.m.
