BROOKLYN, N.Y.- LIU Brooklyn women's soccer heads to Pennsylvania for a pair of Northeast Conference matches this weekend. First, it takes on Robert Morris Friday, Oct. 14 at noon. Then, the Blackbirds travel to Saint Francis University Sunday, Oct.16 to take on the Red Flash at noon.
Last Time Out:
The Blackbirds fell to Central Connecticut State University, 2-0, Sunday evening. The Blackbirds dropped to 1-11-0, 0-3-0 NEC with the loss.
Alex Zampini scored in the first half, and Carla Jackson netted an insurance marker in the second half for the Blue Devils.
Redshirt junior Jenn Peters and freshman Dana Wiesmore led the team with two shots. Sophomore keeper Aline Allmann made four saves.
The Robert Morris Series:
LIU Brooklyn is 12-5-2 all-time against the Colonials. Robert Morris won the last meeting, 4-2, on Oct. 25, 2015.
Scouting the Colonials:
Robert Morris (2-11-0, 0-3-0 NEC) lost to Saint Francis U, 2-0, in its last match. Junior Kasia Bak and senior Erin Ritzer led the team with three shots apiece. Graduate Makenzie Shearson made six saves.
Sophomore Jane Schleicher (two goals and one assist) and Bak (one goal and three assists) lead the team with five points.

Saint Francis defeated Mount St. Mary's, 2-0, in its last match. Freshman Abigail Tarosky and junior Gabi Morales scored for the Red Flash. Sophomore keeper Julia Hernan made four saves.
Sophomore Sara Suler (three goals and three assists) leads SFU with nine points. Junior Leah Hardin (one goal and two assists), senior Casey Gallagher (two goals), freshman Alyssa McGhee (one goal and two assists), Tarosky (two goals), and Morales (one goal and two assists) have four points each.
Hernan is 4-10-0 with a 1.94 goals against average, .754 save percentage, and three shutouts.
