BEDMINSTER, N.J.- LIU Brooklyn Women's golf placed 11th at the Pirate Invitational at Trump National.
The Blackbirds took 29 strokes off their day one score to finish the tournament with a 705. South Dakota State shot a two-round score of 632 to win the team title.
Freshman Carolina Ronchel shot a 78 on Saturday, which was seven strokes better than her day one score, to finish the meet eighth overall shooting a 163.
Sophomore Sara Ciliberto, who shot a stroke better on day two, and freshman Aida Gonzalez, who shot three strokes better on day two, finished the meet tied for 55th concluding the two-day tournament with a score of 181.
Freshman Rebeca Pardos showed the most improvement from day one to day two taking 14 strokes off her score to shoot a second round 86.
