Final Results
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The LIU Brooklyn women's golf team finished in tenth at the Lonnie Barton Invitational in Daytona Beach, Fla. The Blackbirds took 28 strokes off of their first round score, carding 810 over both days of competition.
Emma Paschal turned in the best score for the women's team. The freshman shot 91 on day one, then improved her score by eight to post 80 on day two of the tournament to tie for 21st.
Sophomore Lauren Rutherglen finished one stroke behind Paschal, carding 86 for both rounds, tying for 23rd in a field of 49.
Tied for 33rd is freshman Sara Ciliberto, who shot 180 for the tournament. Coming in fourth for the Blackbirds is newcomer Mya Jones in her first tournament appearance as a Blackbird, carding 287 to finish in 49th place.
