Final Results
BLOOMFIELD, Conn. – The LIU Brooklyn women's golf team concluded its final weekend of competition in the regular spring season. The team posted an eighth place finish at the end of day two at the Hartford Hawk Invitational, carding 740 on the weekend.
Freshman Emma Paschal paced the Blackbirds throughout the tournament, standing alone in the 23rd overall spot following her 85 performance in the second round to total 168 for both days. Finishing in second for LIU is sophomore Lauren Rutherglen, who also turned in an 85 on day two to tie for 24th.
Trailing Rutherglen by six strokes is Sara Ciliberto. The freshman tied for 32nd overall and carded 175 for two rounds of play. Rounding out the Blackbirds is fellow freshman Mya Jones. Jones repeated her round one score of 114 on the second day of competition to finish 42nd individually.

The women are set to compete in their final tournament of the season, the Northeast Conference Championships, which will begin on Friday, April 22 and conclude on Sunday, April 23.
