BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The LIU Brooklyn women's golf team is set to compete in the Wagner Invitational on Sunday, April 3 through Monday, April 4. The tournament is hosted by Wagner College in Gettysburg, Pa.
LAST TIME OUT
The women's golf team finished in 14th at the Lady EagleCat Invitational. Lauren Rutherglen shot 83 in the first and second rounds to place 31st in a field of 74 golfers. The sophomore completed the two day tournament at +20, carding 166. Finishing one stroke behind Rutherglen is Emma Paschal at 21-over par at the end of day two. The Florida native sunk her second consecutive birdie on the 14th hole, shooting par or better on 12 holes in her second round of play to tie for 34th.
UP NEXT
The Blackbirds only have one more tournament before the Northeast Conference Championships. On Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10 the women will tee-off in Hartford, Connecticut for the Hartford Hawk Invitational.
