LAST TIME OUT
The team posted an eighth place finish at the end of day two at the Hartford Hawk Invitational, carding 740 for both days. Freshman Emma Paschal paced the Blackbirds throughout the tournament, standing alone in the 23rd overall spot following her 85 performance in the second round to total 168. LOOKING BACK
Rutherglen boasts the lowest round for the Blackbirds this season, shooting 75 in the third and final round of the Yale invitational in October. The British Columbia native also posted the best individual finish for the women's team, garnering a third place finish at the Wagner Invitational, where the sophomore carded a pair of 78's for both rounds. Paschal and fellow freshman Sara Ciliberto shot the second lowest rounds for LIU so far, both having shot 80 in the first round of the Rutgers Invitational. A late addition to the women's golf roster, Mya Jones joined the team this spring and has been able to improve her score consistently throughout her rookie season, recording a personal best round of 114 at the final regular season tournament, the Hartford Hawk Invitational.
