Day One Results
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Day one of the 2016 Women's Golf Northeast Conference Championships comes to a close on Friday, as defending champion Fairleigh Dickinson leads the pack at the conclusion of the first round, having carded 309 for round one.
Sophomore Lauren Rutherglen paced the Blackbirds through the first round of the NEC Championships. Rutherglen, who is currently in 21st overall, shot 85 to post a +12 performance.
Emma Paschal stands one stroke back from Rutherglen, having shot par or better on nine holes, including a birdie on hole three, tying the freshman for 22nd going into day two.
Sara Ciliberto sunk her second shot on the seventh hole for her first of three birdies on the day, helping her stay at 14-over par and tied for 27th at the end of the first round.

The women will play the second of three rounds of the NEC Championship on Saturday, April 23. Competition will resume at 8:00 a.m. on the Hills course of LPGA International.
