Final Results
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The LIU Brooklyn women's golf team wrapped up its spring season on Sunday at the 2016 Northeast Conference Championships. Fairleigh Dickinson carded 934 to repeat as NEC Champions, just one shot ahead of second place Sacred Heart. In third was Wagner College, followed by Saint Francis University, Central Connecticut and St. Francis Brooklyn. Sacred Heart freshman Chelsea Sedlar (229, +10) claimed NEC individual medalist honors.
Emma Paschal topped the Blackbird leaderboard on the final day of competition. The freshman tied for 21st, shooting her best round of the tournament on Sunday, carding 81.
In 23rd is Lauren Rutherglen, who tallied two birdies in her final round to posted 85 on day three and 252 for the weekend. Rounding out the LIU squad on the final day of conference play is Sara Ciliberto, who finished in 33rd and carded 279 for all three days.
This concludes the 2015-16 season for the LIU Brooklyn women's golf team.
