Final Results
BALTIC, Conn. – The LIU Brooklyn men's golf team finished its final weekend of competition before heading south for the NEC Championships. At the UConn hosted tournament, the Blackbirds placed ninth of 13 teams competing at the Til Duty Is Done Collegiate Invitational, carding 915 over three rounds.
Stewart Gray paced the Blackbirds throughout the weekend, shooting 72-72-77 to tie for 16th in a field of 75 golfers. Gray recorded his second lowest score this season in a three-round tournament, staying even through the first two rounds and finishing at five-over par at the conclusion of play on Sunday.
Tying for 38th is Rodrigo Munoz, who carded 78-72-80 for three rounds to end up at +14 for the weekend. Freshman George Helsby tied for 40th following his 75-75-82 performance for 16-over par.
Kyle Maihi posted 77-75-82 for his three rounds, tying the sophomore for 48th. Coming in fourth for the men is Daniel Reale, who shot 76-79-83 over the three day tournament to tie for 61st. Playing as an individual for LIU is Jake Spearpoint, who tied for 53rd overall with his scorecard reading 77-75-84 for the weekend.
