Day Two Results
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The LIU Brooklyn men's golf team jumped to fifth place on day two of the Northeast Conference Championships after carding 296 in the second round of play. Wagner College holds onto their lead going into the third and final round of the championship tournament.
Freshman Daniel Reale took an impressive seven strokes off of his first round score to post the lowest score of the day for the Blackbirds of 69 to tie for eighth going into the final round.
Tying for 15th at the end of day two is Rodrigo Munoz, who shot 75 for his second round. Coming in third for LIU is senior Stewart Gray, carding 76 to tie for 22nd.
Kyle Maihi is currently tied for 31st and shot 82 on day two for a total of 151 over the first two days of competition. Rounding out the Blackbirds is George Helsby, who took seven strokes off of his score from the first day to card 76in the second round and tie for the 40th spot going into day three.

The men will compete in the third and final round of the NEC Championship on Sunday, May 1.
