BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The LIU Brooklyn women's golf team will be back on the greens this Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10 for the Hartford Hawk Invitational in Bloomfield, Connecticut. This is the team's last weekend of competition before the Northeast Conference Championships.
LAST TIME OUT
Sophomore Lauren Rutherglen shot a pair of 78's for her first and second rounds of the tournament to card her lowest score of the season of 156, clinching a bronze finish. This is her first third place finish as a Blackbird and the best individual finish for the team this season.
THE FIRST ROUND
This will be the first time the women's team will compete at the Hartford Hawk Invitational. The tournament will take place at Tumble Brook Country Club and the team will tee-off at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
UP NEXT
The women are set to compete in their final tournament of the season, the Northeast Conference Championships, which will begin on Friday, April 22 and conclude on Saturday, April 23.
