STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.- The LIU Brooklyn men's track & field team continued its season at the Gotham Cup Friday afternoon at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.

The Blackbirds started the day off with a pair of top-10 finishes in the 60-meter dash. Sophomore Caleb Williams finished sixth crossing the line in 6.95. Senior Delano Davis finished right behind Williams completing the race in 6.96.

Karl Cajuste added a top-20 finish in the 60-meter hurdles. The senior placed 14th recording a time of 8.73.

Graduate-student Nicholas Ruiz finished 22nd in the mile running a time of 4:33.03.

The Blackbirds return to action next weekend (January 26-28) at the B.U. John Terrier Classic in Boston.
