BROOKLYN, N.Y. --- The LIU Brooklyn women's basketball team will look to win back-to-back games Monday afternoon when the Blackbirds welcome Mount St. Mary's to the Steinberg Wellness Center.

- LIU snapped a two-game losing streak with its 74-69 win over Wagner on Saturday afternoon. Waithe registered her fourth straight double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds, Petty-Evans scored 22 points for her third 20-point outing of the year, and Johnson added 17 points while hitting on half of the Blackbirds' three-pointers (4-for-5).
- Redshirt junior Drew Winter dished out a new career-high of 12 assists against the Seahawks. Over the last 20 seasons, no other Blackbird player has accomplished that feat. Waithe joined the assist party with a career-best five helpers of her own. As a team, LIU had 21 assists and an assist-to-turnover differential of 8 (both season highs).
- LIU's 74 points were the team's most in a game this season and its highest tally since scoring 75 at home against Saint Francis U. on January 9, 2016. The offensive total came as a result of LIU's highest total of made field goals this year (28).
- LIU matched Wagner in the rebounding battle, 37-37. The Blackbirds are 3-0 this year when playing to an even rebounding total or outrebounding their opponent.
- In a sign of program progress, a victory against The Mount would allow LIU to surpass its total from all of 2016-17 with 13 games remaining on the year.
- Petty-Evans (16.3 ppg), Johnson (14.1 ppg), Waithe (8.8rpg) and Winter (5.6 apg) continue to pace the Blackbirds, with LIU sporting a top-3 conference performer in nearly every category (Petty-Evans: 4th; Waithe: 3rd; Winter: 1st).
- Mount St. Mary's has alternated wins and losses over its last four contests, losing its last game at St. Francis Brooklyn, 82-73 on January 13.
- LIU trails Mount St. Mary's in the all-time series, 21-33, last winning on 63-60 on December 29, 2016.
- The Mountaineers are paced by Ashlee White (12.6 ppg) and Juliette Lawless (4.9 rpg, 2.9 apg).
