BROOKLYN, N.Y. --- The LIU Brooklyn women's basketball team look for its first three-game winning streak of the season on Saturday when the Blackbirds face Bryant on the road.

- LIU won its second straight close game on Monday, fending off Wagner for a 53-48 victory at home in Brooklyn. Senior DeAngelique Waithe led the charge for the Blackbirds with her fifth straight double-double, posting 17 points and 10 rebounds on the night.
- The Blackbirds are learning how to win in many different ways. A game after posting their highest point total of the year (and most since a 75-point night on January 9, 2016) in a win over Wagner, LIU beat Mount St. Mary's with its lowest point tally in a victory since defeating the same Mount team in Brooklyn on February 6, 2016 (53-50). LIU also held Mount to its lowest point total of the year (48).
- Petty-Evans (15.9 ppg), Johnson (13.5 ppg), Waithe (8.9 rpg) and Winter (5.4 apg) continue to pace the Blackbirds, with LIU sporting a top-5 conference performer in nearly every category (Petty-Evans: 4th; Waithe: 4th; Winter: 1st).
- Winter's current assist average of 5.4 per game gives the Blackbirds a player ranked in the NCAA top-50 (43rd).
- Bryant has bounced back from a six-game losing streak to win its last three by more than 13 points per game.
- LIU trails Bryant in the all-time series, 3-12, and won its last game against the Bulldogs on February 6, 2012 (51-41). The Blackbirds will be looking to break a five-game losing streak in the series with Saturday's matchup.
- The Bulldogs are led by Sydney Holloway (16.9 ppg, 9.6 rpg), and Naomi Ashley (3.2 apg).
