RESULTS
BLOOMFIELD, CONN.- The LIU Brooklyn women's golf team finished its time at the Hartford Invitational in seventh place, shooting a second round 325 to end the two-day event at 91-over 651.
After the opening 18 holes were completed, junior Rebeca Pardos positioned herself in the top ten with an opening round of 78 to tie for sixth overall. Pardos would eventually finish 20-over 160 (78-82) to sit 17th on the leader board.
Freshman Ashlee Garrett continued her steady freshman campaign shooting 21-over 161 (83-78). Not far behind Garrett was junior Aida Gonzalez, who finished 24-over 164 (81-83) to tie for 25th place. Senior Sara Ciliberto placed in 28th place shooting 26-over 166 (84-82). Rounding out the Blackbirds team placement was senior Emma Paschal in 35th place, shooting an even 30-over 170 (85-85).
Freshman Lexi DeLorimiere competed individually for Blackbirds and would finish tied for 39th, shooting a 184 (93-91).
Siena College's Sara Riso took the individual title with a one-over 141 (70- 71), while the course host Hawks finished first (42-over 602) to win the team competition.

The LIU Brooklyn women's golf team will be back in action for the second half of their fall schedule at the Yale Invitational on Friday, October 5th to Saturday, October 6th.
