BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- LIU Brooklyn head softball coach Roy Kortmann has announced his squad's 2018 fall schedule. The Blackbirds will have four play dates, beginning on Sunday, October 7.

The Blackbirds will begin on Sunday, October 7 at the Ivy League's Princeton, taking on Caldwell at 12:45, and the Tigers at 3 p.m. The following Saturday (October 13), the Blackbirds will play games at Hofstra, again taking on Caldwell at 1p.m., before facing off with the host Pride at 3:00 p.m. On Saturday, October 21, the team will travel to the Big Ten's Rutgers for an 11 a.m. doubleheader, and will wrap up the fall season with the Pride again, in a 12 p.m. doubleheader at Hofstra on Saturday, October 27.

LIU Brooklyn returns 13 letterwinners and welcomes nine newcomers to a team that advanced to the Northeast Conference Championship final in 2018.
