BROOKLYN, N.Y.— Freshman Eva van Wakeren was named to Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I All-Region Mideast second team honors on Monday. van Wakeren is the first player in program history to earn NFHCA postseason accolades.

The first-year standout was named to All-MAAC First Team after leading the Blackbirds with 24 points and 11 goals on the season, picking up program records in both single-season and career points records. She ranked third in the MAAC in goals and fifth in points.
