BROOKLYN, N.Y. --- - The LIU Brooklyn women's basketball team begins their last full month of regular season play on Saturday with a road trip to Maryland to face Mount St. Mary's.

Senior DeAngelique Waithe led all scorers with a new career high of 24 points and added ten rebounds to post her seventh double-double of the year and eighth of her career. Graduate transfer Denisha Petty-Evans and sophomore Seneca Richards each chipped in nine points.
- Petty-Evans' defensive effort produced five steals on the night, matching her career best from December 21, 2016 against Harvard while playing for Siena.

- Mount St. Mary's broke a four-game losing streak on January 27 with a 79-54 win over Wagner. LIU defeated the Mountaineers 53-48 in Brooklyn in the team's last meeting.
- The Mount is led by Ashlee White (13.1 ppg) and Juliette Lawless (5.5 rpg, 3.1 apg).
